Hey RPG fans! If you’re anxiously awaiting news on The Wayward Realms, the upcoming RPG from The Elder Scrolls veterans Ted Peterson and Julian Lefay, you’re not alone. Two months ago, we got a tantalizing first look at the gameplay, but since then, it’s been pretty quiet on the news front.
What We Know So Far
The initial gameplay trailer revealed some exciting features:
- Exploration: Navigate through diverse landscapes.
- Sneaking Mechanics: Including the ability to destroy light sources to stay hidden.
- Combat: Showcasing the game’s fighting systems.
- Dialogue System: Engage with NPCs, offer bribes, intimidate, or gain sympathy.
While the game is still in its early stages, the footage showed significant progress. Though it’s not yet AAA-level, the developers are clearly making strides toward creating a solid RPG experience.
Kickstarter Success
The game’s Kickstarter campaign is off to a great start. The developers have already raised $360,000 of their $500,000 goal with 26 days to go. This strong support hints at a dedicated fanbase eager to see the spiritual successor to Daggerfall come to life.
What’s Next?
Currently, there are no new updates on the development or additional gameplay footage. However, fans are hopeful that the devs will release more information soon. For now, we can keep our fingers crossed and continue to support their efforts on Kickstarter.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Hang tight, adventurers! Exciting things are on the horizon for The Wayward Realms.
